Privacy Policy

Daily Reprieve (“we”, “our”, or “the app”) helps people support recovery one day at a time. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Who this applies to

This policy covers the Daily Reprieve mobile applications (iOS and Android) and the marketing website at getdailyreprieve.com. The website is a landing page for downloading the apps and does not host app account features.

2. Information we collect

3. Journals and local privacy

Journal content is stored privately on your device by default. We do not automatically upload journals. Journals and entries are sent to our secure cloud only when you explicitly choose “Sync journals to cloud” in the app.

4. How we use information

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Sharing

We may use trusted infrastructure providers (such as cloud hosting) to operate the service. Those providers process data only to provide the service. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety and integrity of users and the service.

6. Retention and deletion

We retain account and synced content while your account is active. You can request account deletion in the app; deletion anonymizes or removes personal account access according to our deletion process. Local-only journal data remains on your device until you delete the app or clear app data.

7. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards such as encrypted transport (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and authenticated APIs. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

8. Children’s privacy

Daily Reprieve is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Your choices

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use of the app after updates means you accept the revised policy.
